This Liran Hirschkorn from chooseterm.com, and I want to talk to you today
and give you some quick five things to consider for your personal financial
New Year’s resolutions for 2014. So here they are, five things. If you
don’t have a will, create one. Especially if you have kids you can name
guardianships. If something were to happen to you and your spouse or to
you, who would be in charge of your kids and who would take over?
Two, creating an emergency fund. It’s very important to have six to twelve
months worth of living expenses in the bank. Creating a retirement account.
If you’re not putting money away for retirement it’s something you need to
do. And creating a college savings plan for your children. If you have kids
you should be putting money away for college. And lastly, getting a life
insurance policy because you’re saving money, you’re putting money for
college and for your future retirement, but obviously, if something happens
to you, all your future income, it’s not going to be there for your family.
So life insurance is the other thing you should be thinking about for 2014.
